Happy Thanksgiving!!! It is going to be the coldest one in years. We had initially planned on going on a family trip but after Grace got sick early this week we decided to stay home instead and give her time to fully recover. So, we decided to cook our traditional dinner (husband got the last 20 lbs. turkey at the local market) and maybe attempt to decorate the house for the holidays later today. Speaking of holiday traditions, I wanted to post some photos of Grace taken over the Summer as I do every Thanksgiving, however in true Mercury retrograde fashion the photos have disappeared despite me checking my computer files for hours. I am still a little upset about it but there is nothing like a visit to the ER with a feverish child to give you some perspective in life. There are so many things that I am thankful for this year: my immediate and extended family first and foremost, our health, my work, amazing colleagues and wonderful patients, this blog-a window of creativity, old and new friends, hot chocolate, Grace's hugs, kindness of strangers, and unconditional LOVE among other things.
I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! Be safe and enjoy your day wherever life takes you!
X,
Blerina
