Last Monday we celebrated Grace's 2nd Birthday. We had cake, played with pink balloons and went out for birthday brunch-the weather was just perfect, the first warm day of the season. It is hard to believe my sweet baby is officially a busy, energetic toddler. The past two years have flown by and some days have been a total blur. But, what is clear as day (without trying to sound like a sappy, mommy cliche) is the fact that Grace has been and always will be the biggest driving force of my life. She is loved beyond words and my greatest wish is to see her grow healthy and happy.
Thank you to all of our family and friends who called, texted, and emailed birthday wishes!!!
Happy Birthday my amazing Grace! Here is to 100 more!!!
Greetings friends! Just wanted to share with you my favorite memories from last year and wish you a very Happy New Year filled with joy, good health, peace, and above all infinite LOVE!
Fall is in full swing here in Connecticut and so are all the fall activities-pumpkin patch visits, apple picking, Halloween decorations, and foliage adoring. We are trying to squeeze as much outdoor action over the weekends and fortunately the weather has cooperated thus far. Here are some picks from our fun afternoon at the local pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago (apple cider, doughnuts, and apple pie not pictured.) Needless to say, Grace had the best time-she got to see some cute lamas too, and I am happy to report our front porch is almost fall-ready!

hope is that stubborn thing inside us that insists, despite all the
evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us so long as we
have the courage to keep reaching, to keep working, to keep fighting."-President Obama
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month make
every day pink and try to reach out to different organizations that support and
raise funds for research, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of breast
cancer. But more importantly, arm yourself
with knowledge and help spread awareness of the disease.
